As we continue to deploy our capital and drive profitable growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy to play a critical role in shaping our company's future.

Primary Function

Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Development & Strategy, the Director, Corporate Development is responsible for working with the businesses and executive leadership in identifying acquisitions and partnerships to advance the strategy of the Company. Also participates in the strategic planning process and leads projects in support of executing our strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate corporate development opportunities; identify key drivers and commercial assumptions and develop synergy opportunities.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) that align with Company strategic goals, by completing financial models and valuations, leading due diligence and integration processes and partnering with functional leaders to ensure a coordinated process.
  • Research and remain up-to-date on market trends, industry developments and regulatory changes affecting the Company's industries and markets.
  • Gather important information regarding risks and opportunities for pending M&A activities, translating this information into fact-based insights on valuation and synergies.
  • Gather, analyze and disseminate to executive team information about market conditions, competitors' strategies and industry trends to support the organization's strategic decision-making process.
  • Conduct industry and company-specific research to inform the development and execution of the Company's strategies.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for various structures and expected returns.
  • Prepare presentations and present business cases for corporate development opportunities.
  • Lead due diligence processes in corporate development opportunities.
  • Participate in other corporate development related projects and analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of M&A experience in a similar sized company
  • Superior financial modeling skills

Additional Qualifications:

  • M&A/ Investment Banking experience
  • Master's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 10+ years M&A experience in a similar sized companypreferred
