Job Summary:

The Manager of IT Data Services leads the IT Data Services team, overseeing a skilled group of Database Administrators (DBAs), Data Move specialists, and experts in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. Holds primary responsibility for the deployment and efficient management of data-related services, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functioning of databases across diverse platforms. Spearheads initiatives to enhance data reliability, accessibility, and security. Manages database administration, data movement, and EDI/ETL activities. Collaborates with cross-functional IT teams to coordinate data-related efforts. Drives the planning, prioritization, and resourcing of IT Data Services projects. Serves as a key escalation point for data-related issues. Oversees budgetary considerations for the IT Data Services department in collaboration with leadership team. Contributes to project planning and execution.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Five (5) years of relevant IT experience is required, including three or more years in a formal or informal leader position. Formal leadership experience is preferred. Familiarity with data management systems and tools with expertise in database administration, EDI, and ETL processes is preferred. Previous experience implementing and optimizing data-related solutions is preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree in relevant technology field is required or equivalent acquired through combination of education and experience.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbal. Outstanding stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Strong understanding of business process design. Strong capabilities in project management tools and methodologies. Strong understanding of change management. Ability to uncover facts and use that information to effectively solve issues. Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks. Ability to prioritize, delegate, and execute in high-pressure situations.
