ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Associate, Data Management, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the GSARA (Global Safety Assurance & Regulatory Affairs) team working closely with other cross-functional teams, such as IT/BPT, and leveraging your analytical skills, you will contribute to the creation, optimization, maintenance of data-driven tools and solutions critical to regulatory support and product development processes.

Primary accountability will be to leverage your expertise to gather, analyze, and interpret data related to regulatory compliance and new product development, ensuring accuracy and integrity while driving innovation through data-driven insights. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align data analysis efforts with regulatory requirements and project objectives, ultimately contributing to the success of regulatory initiatives and New Product Development (NPD) strategies.

This position provides support to the Global and Regional GSARA members. This role requires the ability to understand business & user needs from a systems and analytics perspective and turn those needs into proactive sustainable solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead data analysis efforts to support regulatory compliance activities and inform strategic decision-making in new product development

  • Design and develop advanced data tools and solutions tailored to regulatory support and new requirements, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data insights and solutions

  • Take ownership of data system maintenance and enhancement projects, ensuring ongoing functionality and usability

  • Mentor and provide guidance to GSARA team members on tools and data analysis techniques, usage, and best practices

  • Manage System Access requests from users and support periodic reviews to validate access and remove unnecessary users

  • Support troubleshooting of workflow, system access and user interface issues, including investigation of issue and engagement with 3rd party developer and BPT

  • Work closely with the rest of S&A cross-functional peers and 3rd party developers to support system changes

  • Develop and update training materials to incorporate enhancements and new tools deployed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline and 2+ years of relevant work experience in data management and/or reporting systems and tools

    • OR

  • Advanced degree in technical discipline and 1+ year of relevant work experience in data management and/or reporting systems and tools

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • 3 years of professional experience in Data Management and Reporting systems and tools

  • Strong technical skills in Excel, Tableau, MS SharePoint, MS Power App, MS Power BI

  • Knowledge of the New Product Development (NPD) process

  • Exposure to project management and metrics analysis

  • Ability to translate business needs into business requirements

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong internal and external relationships at all levels.

  • Solid organizational, planning and communication skills

  • Experience with Change Management

  • Ability to work independently, proactively, results focused, with a strong sense of personal ownership

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Position is Full-Time, core hours: 9-3, Monday-Friday

  • Office work environment: Remote work available once a week for eligible employees
