We provide clients with expert planning, architecture design, engineering, environmental and construction administration services across a wide variety of market sectors, including transportation (aviation, highways, roads and bridges), food and beverage processing, renewable energy, municipal infrastructure, military, telecommunications, cultural resources, and hydropower and water resources. We have an opening for an Entry Level Mechanical Process Engineer.

Responsibilities of the Process Engineer:

• Participate in field testing (I/O verification, operational readiness testing, functional & performance testing), commissioning, training, and startup services of Mead & Hunt designed and constructed systems.
• Assist in the development and modification of process flow diagrams and P&ID's.
• Assist in optimizing plant operations, contribute to process design projects, and support safety protocols, aiming to maximize efficiency and profitability.

The successful candidate must have all of the following:

• B.S. degree in Mechanical engineering or related field of study.

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• Strong academic credentials,
• Intern or co-op experience,
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, as well as
• Excellent personal and academic references.
• Prior experience, formal or informal, utilizing advanced computer skills in areas such as networking, troubleshooting, custom building, programming, and alternative operating systems is a plus, but not required.
• Prior experience in construction or engineering consulting is a plus, but not required.
