Patient Access Representative Team Leader

We are seeking a crucial role of a Patient Access Representative Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of demonstrated ability in a customer service capacity. Epic software experience is preferred, as well as demonstrated knowledge and experience with healthcare insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, Title 19). Ability to multitask within team settings. Strong analytical skills. Comfortable in an environment with changing priorities and time pressures. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

The Patient Access Representative Team Leader will lead the Patient Access Team in a manner that ensures a customer-focused, quality-conscious work climate. This role presents a significant opportunity for growth and development, as the primary function is to assess training needs and provide the necessary training. The Team Leader is responsible for onboarding new hires, developing training materials, completing team member audits, and providing coverage in patient access areas as needed. The Team Leader will liaise between team members and supervisors/managers by serving as the first point of contact for team members with process/procedural concerns. This position requires participation in an on-call rotation within the department. This position is responsible for meeting all monthly goals.
